The service agreement

These terms describe S.N. Architects’ online design services. Before work starts, we issue a written quotation or service agreement stating the scope, designed area, deliverables, fees, payment stages, revision allowance and expected schedule. A specific term expressly agreed in writing governs that project if it differs from this general policy. No term removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

An enquiry, calculator result or website visit is not a confirmed paid booking. The project begins after the written scope is accepted, the first agreed instalment is received and the required information is available.

Online services; no site visits

The advertised online packages are delivered remotely through calls, messages and digital drawings. No site visits, on-site measurements, site supervision, physical inspection or construction execution are included. Remote drawing clarification does not amount to site inspection or a certification of completed construction.

Package inclusions and exclusions

Only the deliverables listed in the accepted quotation are included. Package drawings may cover floor plans, elevation, architectural working drawings, structural design, electrical/plumbing layouts, false ceiling layouts or stage-wise estimates, according to the selected package. File formats and editable DWG/source-file delivery must be stated in the quotation.

Authority submissions, approval fees, land surveys, soil testing, site visits, construction, material purchases, specialist studies and additional design options are excluded unless expressly included. A portfolio project does not establish the scope of a new online package.

Fees and instalment payments

Payments are made in instalments against the stages specified in the accepted quotation. The quotation must state each stage’s scope, amount and payment trigger before you pay. Stage percentages are project-specific and are not fixed by this website.

The next stage may be scheduled after its agreed payment is received. Before a payment-related pause, we will inform you of the outstanding amount and any schedule impact. Applicable taxes and authorised additional charges will be disclosed in writing.

Pay only through details confirmed by the studio and obtain an invoice or receipt. The website currently has no online checkout.

Client information and decisions

Please provide accurate plot dimensions, boundary/orientation information, site levels where relevant, requirements and available local approval information. For structural work, required soil, existing structure and other engineering inputs must be obtained locally and shared. We will identify missing information needed for the agreed work and clarify material inconsistencies that come to our attention.

Nominate one decision-maker and send consolidated feedback. Confirm the final requirements and each design stage in writing. Major changes after approval may affect fees and time, with your agreement before additional work starts.

Revisions and delivery

Our standard allowance is two consolidated revision rounds per included design stage, unless the accepted quotation says otherwise. Corrections to our own errors or omissions in the agreed scope do not use up these rounds. See the Delivery & Revision Policy for details.

Approvals, structural inputs and execution

Local building rules, setbacks, permissions and competent-authority approvals must be addressed for the actual site. Design delivery is not a guarantee of approval. Where approvals are excluded, the client must arrange the required local professional or authority process.

Do not construct from a concept or render. Use the latest issued construction drawings, obtain necessary approvals and appoint competent local execution/supervision professionals. Required surveys and engineering checks remain necessary, particularly for renovation or additions. We remain responsible for the professional services we expressly undertake; these terms do not transfer responsibility for our own errors to the client.

Drawing use and intellectual property

After the corresponding agreed fees are paid, the client may use the issued drawings for the named project and site. Copyright and reusable studio methods remain with their respective creators unless otherwise agreed. Reuse at another site, resale, publication or modification for another project needs permission. Use of third-party materials is subject to their applicable rights.

Permission to use drawings for your project does not give the studio permission to publish private client information; portfolio use is addressed separately.

Cancellation, complaints and legal rights

Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Contact us promptly if a deliverable or service does not match the agreed scope so we can investigate and correct it.

Indian law applies. Nothing here limits statutory consumer remedies, competent consumer forums or other rights available under applicable law. We will first try to resolve concerns through direct communication; this is not a mandatory barrier to using a legal remedy.

Changes to terms

The terms agreed for an existing project are not changed retrospectively by a website update. Changes to its scope or commercial terms require written agreement.
